His characteristics and personality:
-Demanding (In parts of the story, he directs his “friends and acquaintances” in what he thinks is the solution of the problem or the mystery.)
-Is conceited about his skill and train of though at times.
-Offends a lot of people without knowing it for he doesn’t understand human emotions that well.
-Very knowledgeable in various subjects that can help him with making observations and deductions in mysteries.
-He loves solving murder. (Doesn’t care who dies as long as he can solve the mystery.)
Actor: Benedict Cumberbatch
Benedict Cumberbatch, a British actor who has played many roles in the film and TV industry. One of the characters he had played is Sherlock Holmes in the BBC show Sherlock.
Now we have chosen this character as a dream cast for the book not because he has already played Sherlock before, but because of how well I (dis Hacelle) have observed him portraying the cold hearted character so well. He certainly acted Sherlock’s various actions of showing emotion extremely well, and if you disagree, then watch Sherlock for yourself. (Once you start, you can never stop, so finish all the things you need to do in life before starting this life-ruining show. It’s that good.)
Literally, the way he can show Sherlock Holmes to the viewer is unbelievable. As most will know after reading some of the books, Sherlock is a man with few emotions. He is not even a decent or normal human being, he is more of a machine. His skill and mindset has portrayed him to seem unnatural, and yet, he has his flaws. And Benedict shows that so well. Just add Victorian-style clothing on him, make everything look like it was on the late 1800’s, and voila, he’s classic Sherlock Holmes.
